Welcome to Little Sprouts
Welcome to Little Sprouts Preschool, a home-based preschool founded in 2021 by Eva Lakatos in Woodland Park, Colorado. With a deep commitment to nurturing each child’s curiosity and development, Little Sprouts offers a unique, hands-on learning experience in a warm, supportive, home-based environment. Our large outdoor area provides endless opportunities for exploration and play, including a greenhouse where children can learn about plants and toddlers turn into budding gardeners. At Little Sprouts, we believe in fostering creativity, growth, and a love of nature, all while guiding children by modeling friendly and supportive behavior to others.
Our Mission
We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
Nurturing Children
At Little Sprouts Preschool, each day is a journey of discovery where children are encouraged to explore the world through play-based learning in a nurturing, supportive environment. Our whole-child curriculum embraces each child's unique strengths. From a variety of indoor activities, like circle time, arts and crafts, pretend play, story time, singing and dancing to outdoor adventures, children engage in hands-on experiences that spark their curiosity and foster their natural love of learning. Interacting with others build close friendships, develop new abilities, and gain the confidence that children will later in life to be successful in school and in life.
