Little Sprouts Preschool Achieves Level 5 Rating from Colorado Shines

Woodland Park, CO — Little Sprouts Preschool has proudly earned a Level 5 rating from the Colorado Shines Quality Rating and Improvement System, the highest possible score. This achievement marks Little Sprouts as the first family-based preschool in the Woodland Park area to receive this distinction.

Founded just three years ago, Little Sprouts Preschool is a play-based, family-run program that emphasizes outdoor learning and nature-focused activities. This was the preschool’s first time participating in the Colorado Shines rating process, and it successfully reached the top tier on its initial review — a rare and impressive accomplishment.

Only 15 family child care homes in the entire state of Colorado currently hold a Level 5 rating, placing Little Sprouts among an elite group of early childhood education providers committed to excellence in care and learning.
